NUMBER GAME:
The voice of people is mainly physical voice counted by their numbers. The rule of majority is based on this number game which is played on the basis of number of votes in democracy. The political power in democracy goes to political party which succeeds in this number game. It is also called as elective merit. This elective merit is more influential than selective merit of few learned persons holding selective power within executive and judicial posts. Yes, it is true that there is a wide gap between elective merit and selective merit in India.
The judicial orders of judicial officers carry importance because they are protected by Nation's Constitution, otherwise in all practical sense political orders carry more weight on the basis of physical strength of people which ultimately is based on number game. Can this number game technique be followed by minority of educated class such as advocates carrying only selective merit and not elective merit? It is a debatable issue in democracy.
