If land is source of building structure, building structure has its diversity. If sound is source of music, music has its diversity. But the science of Nature itself is diverse and so diverse is the technology, art and human brain law. The uniformity in law without diversity in law is therefore a myth. Hence, the criminal law can be uniform, but not the civil law.
If people experience science of sound in uniformity, they also enjoy art of music in diversity. The science of Nature itself is divided into different pieces since universe is divided into different parts and particles. The science explains basic sources behind these parts and particles such as basic elements, but not the main source of whole universe made by these parts and particles. So religion comes into picture looking into or at least imagining about that main source called as God by majority of religions. If such God imaginations or even so called divine experiences coming directly from that main source called God differ from person to person and from community to community, naturally the religion in human world will express itself with its own diversity. The basic question is that if the people can accept science in its diversity, why cannot they accept religion in its diversity?
