(1) The lion has got the title "King of the Jungle" because of special physical features and mental qualities. Both lions and tigers are very wild animals with their physical strength and mental courage. But still there is a special difference between these two wild animals to make lions as Kings of forest. The major differences between two are as under.
(2) Firstly, lion is comparatively thin and tall and tiger is comparatively heavy weight and short. This weight and height difference gives advantage to lion over tiger in one-on-one encounter between two. Secondly, lion is a professional fighter throughout his life, although not a good hunter like tiger. This fighter versus hunter difference gives advantage to lion over tiger in one to one fight between two. Thirdly, lions normally live in groups called prides and are generous in sharing and thus they carry their social unity as their additional strength. The lions are social and may form fighting groups unlike tigers, which are usually solitary. The tigers only occasionally socialize for the purpose of mating or forming hunting groups. Fourthly, the tiger is fierce without provocation and cruel without necessity. The lion does not carry this disadvantage. All these major differences between lion and tiger make lion a superior fighter over tiger. The lion is more bold and courageous in fight than tiger and this mental quality along with aforesaid strengths make lion the King of forest.
(3) The lion knows about his strength as well as his weakness and moves by keeping both things in mind. But tiger moves with arrogance by keeping mainly strength in mind. The lion is that way shrewd than tiger. The lion would shrewdly avoid clash with tiger if alone without social support of his fighter group. The tiger may challenge lion all alone, but then if one to one fight takes place between lion and tiger by tiger's such misadventure, then chances are more for lion to win because of his aforesaid natural strengths and advantages.
(4) The human can learn many good things from lion to become the King of Success. One who roars with one's strength to take challenge with courage by keeping one's weakness in mind becomes lion and King of Success! -Adv.B.S.More
