HOW CAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE HELP LAWYERS?
The AI can be used by the lawyers as useful machine or tool in drafting of legal notices, agreements, deeds etc. But it should not be forgotten that AI is just a mechanical tool. It cannor act as learned and trained lawyer. It will not replace the lawyers, but it can help them like legal typist etc. But if lawyers do not adapt to this new technical tool such attitude may make such lawyers outdated.
But artificial intelligence is after all artificial meaning just mechanical. The law as applicable to living things cannot be as mechanical as applicable to non-living things. The human mind is most sensitive and most intelligent mind and law as applicable to human beings cannot be mechanical and therefore mechanical tool called AI cannot apply this law specially applicable to human beings in the same natural way as the human beings can apply. Hence, AI can never replace human human intelligence.
