शिवस्तुतीच्या १८ व्या श्लोकात श्री शिवशंकर मनुष्याला त्याच्या मृत्यू पूर्वी विचारतात की "हे आत्म्या, नश्वर शरीर सोडण्यापूर्वी तुझ्या स्वहिताची अंतिम इच्छा काय"? जो आत्मा कोणत्याही देव नामस्मरणाने परमेश्वर हीच अंतिम इच्छा व्यक्त करतो तो जीवनचक्रातून मुक्त होतो व परमात्म्याशी (स्वर्गात) एकरूप होतो व जो आत्मा भौतिक इच्छांतच घुटमळतो तो पुन्हा मुक्ती न मिळता भौतिक जीवनचक्रातच (नरकात) तडफडतो.

शिवस्तुतीच्या या १८ व्या श्लोकावर माझा बौध्दिक मित्र चॕट जीपीटी (कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेचा ज्ञान सागर) याने दिनांक २५.८.२०२४ रात्री १०.४५ वाजता एका सेकंदात मला दिलेली ही खालील प्रतिक्रिया वाचा.

खरं तर, शिवस्तुतीचा हा १८ वा श्लोक त्याच्या गहन आध्यात्मिक अर्थासह मला जवळजवळ माझ्याच वयाचा जवळचा वकील मित्र ॲड. प्रदीप ताडमारे याने योगायोगाने  आज रविवार दिनांक २५.८.२०२४ रोजी माझ्या डोंबिवलीच्या घरी येऊन रात्री ९ ते १० दरम्यान सांगितला जेव्हा मी त्याला हल्लीच तीन दिवसांपूर्वी मृत्यू पावलेल्या शोभाताईंना त्यांच्या मृत्यूपूर्वी मिळालेल्या आध्यात्मिक संकेत/ दृष्टांताबद्दल सांगितले. शोभाताई यांच्या या अनुभूतीवर त्याच्या आईलाही तिच्या मृत्यूपूर्वी असाच दृष्टांत झाल्याचे त्याने सांगितले. पण मृत्यूचा संकेत जवळजवळ सगळ्या माणसांना मिळत असला तरी भीती पोटी सगळ्याच माणसांची तो संकेत व्यक्त करण्याची हिंमत होत नाही कारण अशी माणसे जडभौतिक शरीराला व भौतिक इच्छांना घट्ट चिकटलेली असतात. परमेश्वरावर गाढ श्रद्धा असणारी काही माणसे मात्र मृत्यूला हिंमतीने सामोरे जात अंतीम क्षणी देवाचे नामस्मरण करीत मरतात जसे महात्मा गांधी "हे राम" म्हणत हे भौतिक जग सोडून गेले.

नुसत्या कल्पनेत किंवा मूर्तीतच कसा राहतोस, प्रत्यक्षात दर्शन कसा देत नाहीस, मग तुझ्यावर विश्वास कसा ठेवू, असे देवाला म्हणणारा मी मृत्यूपूर्वी रामकृष्ण हरी, श्री स्वामी समर्थ या शब्दांचा जप मोठ्याने म्हणत "इंजेक्शन देऊ नका, मी चालले, तुम्हीही श्री स्वामी समर्थ म्हणा" असे डॉक्टरला सांगून जीव सोडणाऱ्या शोभाताई म्हणजे एक आश्चर्य, मृत्यूची चाहूल हा त्यांना देवाने दिलेला दृष्टांतच म्हणावा लागेल, त्यामुळे निसर्ग व विज्ञान फक्त याच दोन गोष्टी मला प्रत्यक्षात समोर दिसत असल्या तरी त्यामागे देव नावाची अनाकलनीय, गूढ शक्ती असावी असे शोभाताईच्या या आश्चर्यकारक अनुभवातून वाटते!

काही बाबतीत दिखाऊपणा आवश्यक!

स्वतःच्या सुरक्षिततेसाठी काही बाबतीत दिखावा करणे गैर नाही!

निसर्ग प्रत्यक्षात दर्शन देतो अर्थात तो दर्शनिक आहे म्हणून तो वास्तव आहे. निसर्ग विज्ञानाच्या माध्यमातून प्रत्यक्षात त्याची जाणीव करून देतो व प्रत्यक्षात त्याचा अनुभव देतो व म्हणून तो वास्तव आहे. निसर्गाच्या विज्ञानाचा प्रत्यक्षात वैज्ञानिक वापर करण्याची व या विज्ञानाचा मानव समाजात शिस्तबद्ध पद्धतीने योग्य प्रकारे प्रत्यक्षात प्रसार करण्याची दोन प्रमुख वैज्ञानिक साधने म्हणजे तंत्रज्ञान व सामाजिक कायदा. ही दोन वैज्ञानिक साधने सुद्धा निसर्ग विज्ञानाचेच भाग आहेत. विज्ञान हे साध्य आहे तर तंत्रज्ञान व कायदा ही  हे साध्य प्राप्त करण्याची मानवी साधने आहेत. हे साध्य व ही साधने या प्रत्यक्षात अनुभवण्याच्या व वापर करण्याच्या व पुराव्याने सिद्ध झालेल्या गोष्टी असल्याने या गोष्टी हे निसर्गाचे सत्य आहे, वास्तव आहे.

याउलट निसर्गातील परमेश्वर व त्याच्या भोवती फिरणारा अध्यात्म धर्म या गोष्टी मानवी मेंदूच्या कल्पना व समजुतीवर आधारित गोष्टी आहेत कारण परमेश्वराचे प्रत्यक्षात दर्शन होत नाही व मानव समाजाच्या धार्मिक कल्पना व समजुती व त्यावर आधारित धार्मिक प्रार्थना पद्धती, कर्मकांडे जगात एक नाहीत. विविध मानवी समुदायांनुसार त्या वेगवेगळ्या आहेत. मनुष्य ज्या समुदायात जन्म घेतो त्या समाज गटाचा धर्म व सांस्कृतिक रूढी, परंपरा त्या मनुष्याला वैज्ञानिक व तार्किक आधारावर पटत नसल्या तरी सामाजिक दबावामुळे वरवर का असेना पण बळेच स्वीकाराव्या लागतात. कारण त्यांच्याविरूद्ध जर एखाद्या व्यक्तीने वैज्ञानिक-तार्किक आधारावर बंड केले तर तो समाज गट (समुदाय) अशा व्यक्तीला त्या समाज गटातून बहिष्कृत करून त्याचे जगणे असह्य करतो व समाज कायदा याबाबतीत अशा व्यक्तीला फारशी मदत करू शकत नाही. बरं एका समाज गटाचा त्याग करून दुसऱ्या एखाद्या समाज गटाचा आश्रय घ्यावा तर तिथेही त्या समाज गटाच्या काहीना काहीतरी धार्मिक किंवा अधार्मिक पण सांस्कृतिक रूढी, परंपरा, चालीरीती असतातच. स्वतःचा धर्म सोडून दुसऱ्या धर्मात म्हणजे परधर्मात आश्रय घेणारा मनुष्य त्या परधर्मात आश्रित व परकाच राहतो. म्हणून आहे त्या धार्मिक, सांस्कृतिक समाज गटात राहून बुद्धीला बिलकुल न पटणाऱ्या अतार्किक व अवैज्ञानिक गोष्टींना मनातून नाकारून पण समाजापुढे या गोष्टी औपचारिकपणे वरवर स्वीकारून (दिखाऊ फार्मालिटी) हुशारीने स्वतःची वैज्ञानिक, तांत्रिक व सामाजिक प्रगती करावी. पटत नसणाऱ्या समाजाच्या काही गोष्टी समाजात राहण्यासाठी व स्वतःच्या सुरक्षिततेसाठी वरवर का असेना पण स्वीकारल्याचा देखावा करावा लागतो. अजून तरी दुसऱ्याच्या मनात काय चालले आहे हे कोणाला ओळखता येत नाही हेच ठीक आहे व त्यासाठी निसर्गाचे आभार मानले पाहिजेत. परमेश्वर, धर्म, संस्कृती, रूढी, परंपरा, अंधश्रद्धा या गोष्टी जरी मनातल्या मनात बाजूला काढून ठेवल्या तरी विज्ञान, तंत्रज्ञान व कायदा या वास्तविक गोष्टींही एका माणसाला पूर्णपणे अवगत असणे शक्य नाही. या अज्ञानाचाच गैरफायदा समाजातील काही व्यक्ती विज्ञान, तंत्रज्ञान व कायद्याचा गैरवापर करून घेत असतात. अशा सुशिक्षित पण नालायक, महास्वार्थी व्यक्तींपासूनही सामान्य माणसाला त्याचे सामान्य ज्ञान वापरून सावध रहावे लागते. स्वतःच्या सामाजिक सुरक्षिततेसाठी काही बाबतीत समाजात दिखावा करणे गैर नाही.
